Who We Are
Engineering behind every load
Vicenza Engineering Works (VEW) has been manufacturing and supplying strapping products to South African industry since 1960. What began as a small engineering works has grown into a specialist supplier of strapping, seals, buckles, tools, machines and packaging accessories.
Our seals and buckles are manufactured in-house, from raw material through to finished product, in a full range of sizes from 13mm to 32mm. Alongside our manufacturing operations we import and distribute leading global strapping tool and machinery brands, and we carry spares for every tool we supply.
Customers rely on VEW for consistent quality, technical honesty and the ability to keep a packaging line running — whether that means a pallet of seals, a replacement wear part, or commissioning a fully automatic strapping machine.
